Northeast Association Management, Inc. (NEAMI) announces one new hire and one promotion

Lewis Moskowitz has been hired as a Public Safety Risk Management Specialist by Northeast Association Management, Inc. (NEAMI), an association management firm that focuses on providing administrative support to municipal risk pools.

In his role, Moskowitz will be identifying hazards and working to reduce the risk of injury to those working in public safety for NEAMI client Public Employer Risk Management Association, Inc. (PERMA), a self-insured workers’ compensation pool.

Moskowitz has worked over three decades in the criminal justice field. Before leaving retirement to join NEAMI, he served as Chief of Police for the Town of Niskayuna from 2005 to 2009. He served as a member of the Niskayuna force prior to being named Chief.

Moskowitz earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from University at Buffalo and an associate’s degree in Police Science from Farmingdale State College. He graduated from the FBI National Academy in 1999 and is a member of regional, state and international Associations of Police Chiefs. Moskowitz is a resident of Niskayuna.


Sigrid Vompa has been promoted to Loss Control Assistant for NEAMI. In her role, Vompa will be responsible for assisting loss control staff, providing member support, database maintenance, and coordinating vendor assignments for NEAMI client PERMA.

Vompa joined NEAMI in 2009 as a provider coordinator. Since then, she has transitioned to member services assistant. Prior to joining NEAMI, Vompa spent seven years as a volunteer coordinator for WMHT, a regional public broadcaster.
